Unicum van de Donkhoeve combines the international jumping blood of Cashpaid J&F, Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve and Diamant de Semilly. He was awarded the title ‘first reserve champion stallion’. Unicum van de Donkhoeve grew during the selection procedure. This rideable stallion has good proportions. He jumped with much scope under the saddle and with a good use of his hind legs. He showed much committment and ‘rittigkeit’.

Type :

Unicum van de Donkhoeve is a well-developed, rideable and appealing stallion with much frame. His neck could have slightly more length and curve. The top line has length but runs a little tight. The croup is slightly short and the hindquarters could have more muscle.

Legs :

The legs have a good length. They are lean and proportional. The feet are well-shaped. The front leg is slightly straight.

Movements:

The walk is a little short and lacks some bending in the hind leg. The cover and impulsion in trot is good, but he could have a little more freedom in the shoulder. He could walk with slightly more impulsion on hard ground and the trot is good. The canter is well-carried, ample covering and jumped with good impulsion, but he could show a little more suppleness.

Free jumping :

He shows intelligence and overview during free jumping. He could use his shoulder slightly better on the jump. He finishes his jump nicely. He shows good scope.

Riding under test riders :

He is pleasant to ride under the saddle and gives the riders a good feeling. His ‘rittigkeit’ and willingness to work are good to very good. The walk and trot are sufficiently covering and show balance. His canter is covering and shows ample balance and impulsion.

Jumping test under the saddle :

He shows a lot of committment and talent under the saddle. He has a good reflex on the jumpg. The use of his body is sufficient but slightly lacks some use of his shoulder. He finishes his jump well. He shows good scope.

Pioen vd Donkhoeve is well-developed and has a good rectangular conformation. The top line is beautifully shaped with a long neck, strong back and loins and a well-muscled hindquarter. The legs could have slightly more length but are well-developed and the stance is correct. The hoofs a little narrow. Her movements are strong with ample cover and suppleness.
