From 16 to 19 July, young horse enthusiasts from various countries gathered at the beautiful grounds of the Niedersรคchsisches Landgestรผt Celle for the 12th WBFSH International Young Breeders World Championships.
129 young people from 19 studbooks and 10 countries competed against one another in various disciplines that form the basis of the โyoung breederโ profession: theory, conformation assessment, free jumping, and presenting horses in hand.
Our young people from ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ช๐ฃ also had the honour of representing Belgium and the BWP studbook on this international stage. It was an experience centred on knowledge, a passion for horses, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Our youngsters took on the challenge with great enthusiasm and dedication. A special congratulations to ๐๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ป, ๐๐น๐ถ๐๐ฒ, ๐๐น๐ถ๐ธ๐ถ and ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐, who distinguished themselves with fine individual performances across the various disciplines.
But this week was about so much more than just results. These were days filled with new insights, international encounters, friendships and experiences that our young people will carry with them for a long time.
