At the first qualifier for 7 year old horses 75 of the 208 starters drove a clear round. The trial ended with a victory for Koen Vereecke with BWP Woutland Imagine. This stallion was born under the name Imagine Of The Hermitage and descends from Darco x Voltaire. 'The Hermitage' refers to the breeding of Erik Vantyghem. On the seventh place we find the next BWP with Ikker + (Ogano Sitte X Up To Date - Breeder: Roger Van Nuffelen), ridden by Olivier Philippaerts.
At the first qualification for 6-year-olds no less than 273 combinations came at the start. The competition was won by British rider Laura Mantel with NPS Andre (Netherland F). Best BWP in the company was at the seventh place: Jericho vd Dwerse Hagen was ridden by Patrick Spits. Jericho is a son of Vertigo Saint-Benoit out of a Clinton-mother and was bred by BVBA Dwerse Hagen.
