Sport and performance strongly represented in the collection of the “BWP Online Foal Auction”

Since long, we know that BWP plays a prominent role in the world of breeding top jumping horses. Thanks to the “BWP Online Foal Auction”, you get access to the best breeding and sport of jumping horses. This auction starts on next September, 27, and closes on September, 30. The organizers have again succeeded in offering a variety of jumping bred foals, completed with a dressage bred foal and 3 riding pony foals. Those foals have been produced by both renowned sires (such as Cornet Obolensky (BWP registered  under the name of Windows van het Costersveld), Ogano Sitte, Vigo d’Arsouilles and Verdi) and young stallions.

Nowedays, the dam lines play more and more a prominent role. Thanks to the “BWP Online Foal Auction”, several offered foals stem from mare lines with a sports history. Thalida SDP v/d Dennehoeve is a perfect example of it. The dam of this daugther of Amadeo v/h Vossenhof is a half sister to 4 international jumping horses : Amparo v/d Dennehoeve ( a World Cup horse which performed at 1.60m level in the international  5*circuit under the saddle of Todd Minikus and Doron Kuipers), Gentleman v/d Dennehoeve (3*, 1.45m), Jarnac v/d Dennehoeve (a 10 year old son of Thunder v/d Zuuthoeve which performed this year already  in international 1.50m classes) and Barranco v/d Dennehoeve (1.35m under Marta Martini).  Thalida being a female foal makes her the more interesting for those who want to combine sport and breeding.

Taboe van het Molenhof, a son of the BWP Champion Stallion Pegase van ‘t Ruytershof, also belongs to this line. Not just a dam line, but the BWP mare performance line 33. That is the dam line of Skip Two Ramiro (BWP name Talent, 5*, Guy Williams), World Cup horse Domino van de Boswinning, Castor v/h Molenhof (5*), Simply the Best v/h Molenhof (4*, 1.60m), Balou v/h Molenhof (3*, 1.50m), Coquet v/d Potaarde (5*) and Hargane v/d Potaarde.

With Tripel v/d Oudeveldhoeve  (Leandro VG) you can buy a promising foal belonging to the BWP performance mare line 88. This breeding family counts a series of international  jumping horses( such as Idam Fravanca, Eurli Fravanca, Fin Chin Fravanca, Galoubet  Fravanca and Urbi Fravanca), and also some approved stallions ( such as Darcobal Fravanca and Nathan van ‘t Slot).

Buying Thossaro van de Dweerhoeve means that you acquire a top line for your stable. This son of Mosito v/h Hellehof is a grandson of the former 5* jumping horse Bethsabee v/d Maltahoeve. Bethsabee performed not only in the jumping sport but also in breeding : she is the dam of Thiam van de Bosdam, the winning female foal  at the past National Championship of BWP elite foals. The international  5* jumping horses Fara v/d Maltahoeve and Legacy (BWP name Habibi v/d Maltahoeve) and the promising  9 year old Kismet v/d Lentakker also belong to Thossaro’s mare line.

If you missed your eyecatcher or dream foal in the former editions of this auction, look carefully at this collection, because in some cases close relatives are offered for sale. Whoever did not buy Rio d’Obolensky JS during the 2017 edition of the “BWP Online Foal Auction”, now has the chance of buying the full sister Talita d’Obolensky JS.  Or didn’t you buy last year’s auction top foal Soraya B, you can now become the owner of her half brother Tuenoli-B, a son of BWP Champion Stallion O’Neill van t’Eigenlo. Via his dam line, Tuenoli-B is related to Barron  (Olympic Games, several participations in Aachen, Luc y Davis), Curtis (5*, Lucy Davis), Tolano and Salto van ’t Riethof. If you did not have the last bid on Rolf van het Strateneinde during the 2017 edition of this auction, you can now acquire his sister Thilde van het Strateneinde.  And there are more such examples!

Not only the amateurs of jumping blood have the occasion of buying a foal, also the dressage amateurs  can bid on a topper : Topaz van Paebroek , a son of Just Wimphof who won the silver medal  in the small final of the WC for Young Dressage Horses. In the dam line of Topaz we find a trace of the dressage blood of Rohdiamant and jumping blood of Landor S.

We often hear that many riders have started their career by riding ponies. Whoever wants to give his son or daughter that chance, has that possibility in this online auction, as 3 Belgian Riding Ponies are offered for sale : A La Carte van ‘t Oud Molenhuis (4th place at the National BRp foal championship 2019), Already The Best ( a daughter of the stallion Scampolo who took part in international dressage competitions) and Atout van ‘t Oud Molenhuis (6th place at the National BRp Foal Championship 2019).
