The BWP Top Stallion Auction took place on the last day of the BWP Stallion Selection. 24 stallions were auctioned. The average price at the auction was € 27000.
The top price of € 72000 was paid for Picasso vd Zwartbleshoeve (Cornet Obolensky); the stallion moves to Holstein. Pommerol de Muze (Emerald van 't Ruytershof) and Pifte van het Houtemhof (Iron Man vd Padenborre) both yielded the sale price of € 48000. The first goes to the VDL Stud. Pifte was bought by De Zuuthoeve and so stays in Belgium.
A nice amount was also paid for Panter JVH (Le Blue Diamond van 't Ruytershof). His new owners Simons - Motmans paid € 44000 for him. The elite stallion Iron Man vd Padenborre had a second topper in the auction : Phoenix VGW moves to Poland for € 41000.
