The most recent Global Champions Tour event took place in Madrid a few days ago. Nicola Philippaerts and H&M Harley vd Bisschop (Dulf vd Bisschop x Coronado), bred by Stud De Bisschop, ended second in the GP on Saturday evening. Earlier that day, the combination was fourth in the GP Qualification. Pieter Devos and Espoir (Surcouf de Revel  x Laudanum), bred by Johan Lannoo, just missed the podium, ending in fourth place.

On Friday, Julien Epaillard and Instit de Jucaso (Cooper vd Heffinck x Darco), bred by Marc Quertenmont,  won a 1.45m class.

In a 1.50/1.55m class, Cameron Hanley took the third place on Isaura ter Putte (Tinka’s Boy x Darco), bred by Georges De Martelaere. The fifth place was for Eduardo Alvarez Aznar and Fidux (Malito de Rêves x Voltaire),  bred by BVBA Alberdienst.

On Sunday, Denis Lynch rode his gelding Echo de Laubry (Virus de Laubry x Feo), bred by Haras de Laubry , to the victory in a 1.50m class. The third place here was again for Isaura ter Putte.
