In 2012, Young BWP Sint-Niklaas created the Young Breeder Award, a trophy for a young breeder who put BWP in the spotlights in a special way. For 2014, it was very easy to find someone who really deserved it. Geert Schepers was one of those who took the initiative to begin with Young BWP, for ten years he has been at the disposal of the young breeders by organizing meetings, by coaching them, especially in preparation to the Young Breeders Championships. Geert Schepers is, with reason, the third winner of the Young Breeders Award.
