PITOX van ‘t DAUWHOF is one of the two Vannan sons in the auction. On the dam’s side, special emphasis lies on greatgrandam Bacardi, who produced the 1.35m jumping Gazelle de Roulard (Exploit de Roulard) . In this line we see several approved stallions with a lot of blood : Africanus xx (African song xx), Sea Full xx (Arctic Tern xx) and Djalyan x (Djahil x).
PEGASUS vh MAARLO is the second Vannan son. Like Palmiro de Muze and Paulo van HD, which will also be auctioned, Pegasus belongs to the BWP performance line 10, which is known for its many approved stallions, such as Millar (Quick d’ Argentan – 1.60m) and Bonnie Prince Charlie (Sheyenne de Baugy). This line also produced several international toppers, such as Candy (Nabab de Rêve), performing at 1.60m level under Pieter Devos and the widely known Big Ben (BWP Winston by Etretat – 1.60m).
POPEYE de TAMISE is a son of BWP ambassador Vigo d’ Arsouilles. Behind this stallion we see a not yet mentioned interesting dam line in which Vigo himself also plays a role. Granddam Southern Queen xx has been awarded the performance label and jumped 1.30m classes. More striking are her offspring : Fletcha van ‘t Verahof (Vigo d’ Arsouilles) performs at the highest eventing level under Karin Donckers – Southern King V (Bayard d‘ Elle) is active for Italy in CIC 4* classes – Extebaria van ‘t Verahof (Vigo d’ Arsouilles) participates in 3*events under Karin Donckers - Heras van ‘t Verahof (Carabas vd Wateringhoeve) jumps at 1.60m level, and Leipheimer van ‘t Verahof (Vigo ‘d Arsouilles) is a BWP approved stallion.
POPEYE v ‘t KLAVERTJE VIER is one of the Cornet sons in the auction. Popeye’s granddam is no less than Funky Music who is particularly successful at 1.60m level under the Belgian lady rider Anne Carton-Grootjans . Funky Music already proved to pass her genes to her offspring, such as Breitling du Paradis (Bamako de Muze – 1.60m) and the BWP approved stallion El Torreo de Muze (Taran de la Pomme – 1.45m). Greatgranddam Lhasa produced several international toppers. Moreover, we have to mention in this line the international jumpers E-Muze Yek (For Pleasure – 1.60m) and Fortis Fortuna (For Pleasure – 1.60m) which is now jumping under the Irishman Daniel Coyle.
PICASSO vd ZWARTBLESHOEVE is also a son of Cornet Obolensky (Windows van ‘t Costersveld). Jumping genes are also present in the dam line. Granddam Gaelle van Markieslanden jumped herself at 1.45m level. In this line we find some approved stallions, such as the BWP approved Vialli and also international sport horses, such as Gladstone van Trimbachhoeve , jumping for Germany at 1.45m level. Eventing talent is also present with Idezz (Washington DC – CIC2*).
O’DIEU vd HEIDE is a 4-year-old stallion belonging to the BWP performance line 83. Already in the first generation we see promising horses. His dam Dana vd Heide jumped 1.45m classes and gave birth to at least three international jumping talents, among which Brownboy vd Heide (Darandasj vd Heide – 1.60m), ridden by André Freire (BRA) and Bert Prouvé (BEL). Greatgranddam Melodie de la Ferme Rose jumped 1.45m herself and produced the 1.60m jumping Une Rêve vh Moleneind (Nabab de Rêve). A lot of other 1.60m jumping horses belong to this line : Darius de la Ferme Rose (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve - 1.60m) which used to be ridden by Wilm Vermeir, Flash Dance vd Kalevallei (Kashmir van Schuttershof – 1.60m), mainly ridden by Jur Vrieling, Nilly de la Ferme Rose (Skippy II – 1.60m) and Ice Breaker de Gravelotte (Heartbreaker – 1.60m).
