Saltador Ter Putte auction topper BWFA

BWFA promised auction fireworks. It turned out to be a spectacular show. The high-quality catalog of 2018 did its job and as a result many foreign customers were attracted. Foals were sold to China, Canada, Ukraine, France, the Netherlands and of course Belgium. The auctioned total amount yielded €401,000, which means an average price of €16,040. The evening started calmly, but as the foals followed, the hands went smoothly into the air and foals above €20,000 were no exception.

Saltador ter Putte, a For Pleasure out of the full sister to the stallions Elvis ter Putte and Favorit ASK, became the auction topper of the evening. A buyer from Belgium paid no less than €36,000! Breeder of this foal is  Stal Van De Zuidakker Familie De Maertelaere.

Halifax van het Kluizebos was the common thread throughout the collection. The embryo of Chacco-Blue out of the dam of Halifax went of the hammer for an impressive € 30,000. It became an exciting duel between an online bidder from Ireland and the Dutch Lowie Joppen, better known from Stal Joppen. “I absolutely wanted this embryo. It is an interesting damline and you no longer find Chacco-Blue offspring. This is the most expensive embryo I have ever bought, but it is worth it. “Rider Rodrigo Almeida hopes to secure his future with this one. The Halifax descendant Something Special TK leaves to France for €32,000 (breeder TKX EQUISERVICES BVBA).

The auction organization is very satisfied with the 19th edition in Beervelde and is already looking forward to the edition in Waregem with full confidence.
