Type :

Willem Normandi is een royale hengst die goed in het rechthoekmodel staat. In zijn type toont hij zich iets klassiek al is zijn hoofd meer dan sprekend. De hals is lang maar iets diep aangezet. Zijn schouder is lang en schuin. De schoft is goed ontwikkeld. In het middenstuk is hij lang en iets gezonken. De achterhand is goed gespierd.  

 

Beenwerk :

Hij heeft veel lengte in het beenwerk, met goed ontwikkeld bot. Rechts vooraan is hij licht Frans gesteld. De hoeven zijn voldoende groot.  

 

Bewegingen aan de hand:

Hij stapt ruim maar kan hierbij het achterbeen meer onder het lichaam brengen. In de draf heeft hij veel oprichting en veel actie in het beenwerk. Al draaft hij ruim en met afdruk, kan hij met het achterbeen nog meer onder treden.

Op de harde bodem stapt hij ruim. In de draf toont hij veel ruimte en actie in het beenwerk.  

 

Rijden onder het zadel :

Onder het zadel weet Willem Normandi zich op te waarderen. Hij geeft de testruiters een prima gevoel. De looplust en de rijdbaarheid zijn goed tot zeer goed. Hij reageert zeer goed op de hulpen en het mondgevoel is goed. Hij kan iets meer over de rug bewegen.

De stap is voldoende ruim maar mist soms iets aan regelmaat. De draf is zeer ruim en met een beter achterbeengebruik. De galop is ruim en sterk bergop gesprongen.

Hij legde een mooie dressuurproef af waarbij zijn goede mentaliteit nog eens in de verf werd gezet.

 

Willem Normandi is een grootramige hengst die beschikt over een uitstekende instelling en een sterke, goed gedragen galop.

Type :

Willem Normandi is a generous stallion with a good rectangular conformation. His type is slightly classical but his head is very attractive. The neck is long but the position is slightly deep. His shoulder is long and sloping. The withers is well-developed. The middle section in long and a little sunken. The hindquarters is muscular.

 

Legs :

His legs have much length and the bones are well-developed. The stance of his right front leg is toed ou. His hoofs have a sufficient size.

 

Movement in-hand:

His trot is covering but he could have a slightly more active hind leg. He shows much carriage and action in trot. Although he trots groundcovering and with impulsion, he could use his hind leg more. He walks groundcovering on hard ground. In trot he shows much groundcover and action.

 

Riding under the saddle :

Willem Normandi is upgrading himself under the saddle. He gives the test riders an excellent feeling. His willingness to work and rideability are good to very good. He is reacting well to the aids and the feeling of his mouth his good. He could move slightly more in his back.

The walk is sufficiently groundcovering but sometimes lacks some rhythm. The trot is very groundcovering with a better use of the hind leg. The canter is covering and jumped uphill.

He performed a very nice dressage test which underlined his good mentality.

Type :

Willem Normandi est un étalon généreux qui s’inscrit bien dans un modèle rectangulaire. Il est de type plutôt classique, bien que sa tête soit plus qu'expressive. Son encolure est longue, mais l'implantation légèrement basse. Son épaule est longue et inclinée. Le garrot est bien développé. La partie médiane est un peu longue et légèrement ensellée. L'arrière-main est bien musclée.

 

Membres :

Il a beaucoup de longueur dans les membres, avec une ossature bien développée. Il est légèrement panard de l'antérieur droit. Les sabots sont assez grands.

 

Allures tenu à la main:

Le pas est ample, mais il pourrait ramener ses postérieurs plus sous lui. Au trot, il a une posture bien relevée et beaucoup d'action des membres. Bien qu'il trotte avec de l'ampleur et de l'impulsion, il pourrait encore plus ramener ses postérieurs sous lui.
Sur sol dur, le pas est ample. Au trot, il montre beaucoup d'amplitude et d'action des membres.

 

Sous la selle :

Sous la selle, Willem Normandi sait se mettre en valeur. Il donne aux cavaliers d'essai une bonne sensation. Sa mise en avant et son aptitude à être monté sont bonnes à très bonnes. Il répond très bien aux aides et la sensation en bouche est bonne. Il pourrait bouger en se servant un peu plus de son dos.
Le pas est assez ample, mais manque parfois un peu de régularité. Le trot est très ample et avec une meilleure utilisation des postérieurs. Le galop est ample et bien sauté et relevé.
Il a réalisé une belle reprise de dressage dans laquelle sa bonne mentalité a une fois de plus été soulignée.

 

Willem Normandi est un étalon de grande taille avec une excellente attitude et un galop puissant et bien soutenu.
