The dam line of this clever Escamillo son Urianto van den Dries guarantees quality and commitment. He was proclaimed three-year-old BWP dressage champion during the 2023 stallion selection. He is large framed with much stallion expression. His movements are distinctively uphill with much ‘tritt’, mechanism and space. The test riders were also impressed by his balance and carriage.

Type :

Urianto van den Dries is a strongly developed stallion with a very good rectangular conformation. He has an attractive front and much stallion expression. The neck has much length and as a good position. The withers and shoulder are well positioned. He is well-muscled in his hindquarter.

Legs :

The legs are well-developed and have much length. The stance of the legs is correct. The hoofs have a sufficent size. The bulbs are high.

Movements:

His walk has very much cover and impulsion. He trots with much action in the front leg, his trot is covering and shows a good impulsion. He moves correct on hard ground and shows much impulsion in trot. His canter in freedom is covering and well carried and he easily changes.

Lunging :

The lunging circle was a little too small for the big Urianto van de Dries. He is obient and has a good trot with a lot of balance and cover. The canter strides are jumped a little to big but he shows a good balance.

Riding under the saddle :

He shows his natural and beautiful self-carriage under the saddle. The walk is covering and shows suppleness and impulsion. He shows a lot of balance in trot, a good technique of his front leg and a strong hind leg. His canter is uphill and covering but he could close a bit more. The test riders were charmed by his willingness to move and ‘rittigkeit’.

His dam Dude van den Dries is a large mare with a very good rectangular conformation. The length of the neck is sufficient and well-shaped. She has a long well-positioned shoulder. The withers is well-developed. The back has a good length but is slightly deep. The hindquarter is well-muscled. The stance of her legs is correct. She is slightly toed-in in front. Her walk is amply covering and shows a good suppleness and carriage. Her trot is covering and has a good impulsion and balance.
